Sukh Dhaliwal calls for a Community Meeting on Transportation Issues
Dear Constituent,
In meetings in the community, in my office, at the doorstep or in the grocery store, I have been made aware of your concerns about traffic problems and the transportation proposals which will undoubtedly have a major impact on our neighbourhoods, our businesses and our lifestyle.
Delta's Mayor and Council recently invited all levels of government to address council and a common theme of public concern for transportation issues arose from this meeting. I suggested we organize a non-partisan meeting in North Delta for all the elected representatives to listen to our constituents.
We agreed to hold this meeting at:
Sunbury Hall - 10409 Dunlop St. North Delta
6:30pm Wednesday, March 7, 2007
The topics may include, but are not limited to:
From this meeting, your elected representatives will then have
more complete information that they can take to their respective
assemblies, ministries and agencies. Through this
non-partisan, community-driven approach, we all hope to find
satisfactory solutions to these important transportation issues.
